Abios sports bike nationwide on April 15 targeting adults between the
ages of 30 and 60 who know what they want and can appreciate new concepts.
Abios Image Background to the Development of the Abios This was originally released nationwide in November 2003 as a new concept product targeting latent demand in people who have been motivated by health control and environmental issues to seek wiser lifestyles with the use of bicycles. Demand has increased even further amongst the baby boomers, who began to retire last year, so we changed the model to provide higher levels of safety and practicability and ensure it conformed to BAA stipulations in order to provide an optimal bicycle suited to light sports for middle-aged and elderly cyclists. It is a bicycle for adults designed to enhance the fun and joy inherent with cycling, and whereas sports bicycles have mostly been manufactured in Europe and North America up until now, we decided to develop a new highly-functional sports bike that perfectly suited the geographical conditions of Japan and the body sizes of Japanese people in a sophisticated, high-class package. Abios Features 1.Urban Runabout Bicycle 1)Combining the features of the cross-bike, which are popular sports bikes for riding about town, together with a sense of speed and comfort that is suited for on-road cycling.
