These three-seat bicycles (rider + two children) have been authorized in accordance with the BAA (bicycle safety standards) enacted by the Bicycle Association, and come fitted with the mark confirming conformance with the standards governing two-children riding as passengers on bicycles. The line-up consists of the Angelino, the Angelino Mini and the BEAUTE (both normal models and motor-assisted models available for each brand,) and they will be on sale sequentially from July 01.

In addition to guaranteeing riding safety by increasing the strength and rigidity of all parts that make up our three-seat bicycles (rider + two children,) we have also ensured safety when the bicycles are parked.
We have also incorporated various functions to lighten the impact in the event of the bicycle toppling over and have given every consideration to the safety of the children.
The two main types available are the standard model with a child seat at the front and the housewives' model, and both models are also available with the motor-assisted function.
1. The aluminum frame is not only housewives' , it also has improved strength and rigidity for three riders (rider + two children) Low ground-level frame for easy mounting.
2. Improved rigidity in the rear carrier to which a child seat can be attached.
3. Brakes with high braking performance used.
4.Perfectly suited to the current conditions on Japanfs roads for two-wheeled models, not three-wheeled or four-wheeled models, for safe riding and smooth turnabouts, and increased convenience when parking.
5.The height of the head guard can be adjusted in accordance with growth, and this greatly reduces the chance of damage
to childrenfs heads in the event of the bicycle toppling over.
6.Equipped with the broad "Super Rakuraku wide stand" (The Super Easy Wide Stand) and "the Temotode Lock II function", which enables the handlebars to be locked without taking the hands off it, to provide enhanced safety when children mount and get off the bicycle and in other situations when parked.
7.Special child seats to enable three people to ride the bicycle (rider + two children) available on an optional basis. These seats are made to original specifications that include a head guard (standards cannot be met unless these special child seats are used.)

- Features of the Angelino <Bicycle Type>
1. "Conforms to two-child passenger standards."
Authorized in accordance with "the BAA" (bicycle safety standards) enacted by the Bicycle Association, and fitted with the mark "confirming conformance" with "the standards governing two-children riding" as passengers on bicycles. Capable of carrying two children as passengers at the front and rear by attaching the special rear child seat.
2. "The Super Angel Seat 2.0" that provides high levels of safety and comfort for children.
A comfortable and safe seat for children fitted with a reclining function and other features to ensure high levels of safety, comfort and functionality.
1) "Equipped with a relaxing reclining function" to provide even more safety for children.
The back reclines by between twenty and thirty degrees to prevent children being thrust forward and to maintain a safe posture.
2) "The new flexible head guard" provides total protection for the head. It is large and fitted with a cushioning effect to reduce head damage in the event of the bicycle toppling over.
3)" The sliding foot rests" can be adjusted to fit the growth of the child.

4. Special child care bicycle design to enable safe and comfortable cycling.
1) Uses "an Open Wide Tough Frame" (aluminum) that provides both easy mounting and rigidity.
Low ground-level design to enable easy mounting even when wearing a skirt.
2) "The Handlebar Wobbling Reduction Design" in which the front child seat is located on the main axis of the handlebars to prevent wobbling when occupied by a child.
3) "The low center of gravity design" that locates the baby seat very low to the ground enables a 22-inch at the front and a 26-inch wheel at the rear for comfortable cycling.
The Angelino Mini has 22-inch wheels at the front and rear for mothers who are short in stature.
4) A tough (maximum weight capacity of 25kg) and "fashionable pipe carrier" to which a child seat can be fitted.
5. Fully fitted with convenience and comfort functions
1) "The White Flash Slim Tentomushi automatic lights using LEDs", which are bright and long-lasting.
2) "Non-slip pedals" coated in a material that prevents shoes from slipping.

- Features of the Angelino Assista motor-assisted model
1. Uses the new assistance standards
The revisions to the Road Traffic Regulations that were enacted last December allowed the assistance standards to provide a maximum manpower-verses-motor assistance ratio of 1:2 at a speed of 10kph. This has greatly reduced the amount of power required to ride up inclines or carry heavy goods at low speed for women with diminished strength and elderly people.
2. Mounted with the latest "S.P.E.C. 3" technology that has improved assistance feeling and provides high levels of assistance. The newly-developed "S.P.E.C. 3 Assistance Drive" has enabled the assistance power to be set at the optimal settings for each gear position, and this provide powerful and smooth assistance even in low gears.
3. Uses "the Lithium Ion Battery 6.0" (deluxe version)
This deluxe version enables a maximum of 98km to be cycled on a single charge when in "the Auto Eco Mode Plus" mode. (The standard version provides 62km at 4.0Ah.)
4. Uses "the Auto Eco Mode Plus" that selects the assistance mode in accordance with the cycling scenario. The motor detects the pressure being applied to the pedals when in" the Auto Eco Mode Plus" mode, and this automatically controls the assistance power to either provide extra power or conserve battery life in accordance with road conditions.
5. Equipped with "a White Flash Slim Battery Lamp" that uses high-luminance LEDs.
